The earliest timezone unlocks the game?

Australia or New Zealand or they are the same? i though they are in the different timezone but when i looked up the steam says the same countdown time in both region

Nope. It depends on when they want to release it. Asia is ahead of America in time zones and we only get it on the Midnight of Wednesday.

Japan is suppoed to have it even later on their Thursday.

NZ was pushed to Aussie time. So another hour or so? before they get their hands on it as the first people on PC.

Both release at the same time, NZ got pushed back 2 hours.

Australia and New get it at the same time because they are in one region called Oceania.

Japan is an hour later behind Aussie release (confirmed in twitter, but only for English version. Japanese version have to wait for December).

To be honest the entire concept of local releases is silly - People will be sitting up, waiting for the game to unlock everywhere on the planet. Steam already has local download servers (et cetera)

Bethesda are only causing grief and bad publicity by not unlocking it everywhere at the same time.

i believe australia and new zealand are considered the one place from a regional point of view

in the past they kiwi's have had to fight to be treated as a seperate channel to the aussies due to ratings fiascos.

i wont say its bad if the NZ accident didnt happen. otherwise the game will comeout american time which is really annoying to be waiting for their time to reach 10th

So what about Guam, I wonder? It's a U.S. Territory, but it's west of the dateline from the states. It's actually 9:47PM on the 9th here. I'm wondering if it will actually unlock for me at midnight, or If I'll have to wait. If I was buying the physical version, I could just pick it up at the local gamestop at midnight, so I'll be a bit peeved if I have to wait until the evening of the 10th.

if u are in america your game will be unlocked at 12am easten time i think. maybe just check ur steam store page and see the timer?

Got my PC physical copy in NZ just under an hour ago. Still have to wait 2 hours before I can even install the portion of the game on the disc so I'm currently pre-downloading it on steam on my very slow internet. So yeah, NZ unlocks it when Australia unlocks it.
