Name of the character?

I'm just wondering if the guy from the vid, you know the "default" guy in the game, does he have a name or anything? I know it's supposed to be "you" cuz it's an rpg, but I like playing as someone else so I would love to have a name for that guy. :D

The guys name is anything there is no default in the trailer they named him Howard

This made me think of something. Can we actualy name our character any name we want? They said there was audio for the most popular names,so Im guessing you can only pick regular human names from a list?

Actually there is a list of names that characters will say in voice in fallout 4, joshua is on the list so if i chose that then codsworth would call me master joshua actually voiced, if your name isnt listed he will call you sir or madam

for fallout 3 it was the lone wanderer. for fallout new vegas it was courier. for fallout 4 its the sole survivor

the default names for them, if you arent playing as the male or female is

Male: Nate
Female: Nora
but if you play as one of them then you pick your own name
