only thing about proxy and VPN in TOS is about using such method to circumvent the restriction on game content or to try to buy it cheap.
so basically i was rigth. it is there to forbid people to buy a banned game in certain country.
you may argue about "any other purpose. "
in common law any ambiguity in contract benefits the party that did not draw the draft therefore us the users. also in the context, the term "any other purpose" is any other purpose to circumvent the ristriticions of game content outside the permitted area can be applied when playing game that you rightfully own and legal in your country few hours early will not apply .
not to mention disccusing about it is not applied.
so thank you for allowing me this great opportunity to read through TOS again.
2. launch steam
3. download game
4. put steam offline mode
5. play game and disable vpn
6. profit!?!
but i am still here and thread is still here
educated audience must learned by now that at least discussing about is not against the rule? because if it was banning aside this thread should have been deleted an hour ago
I couldnt care less if you talk about it, its not my rules.
And Australians are one of the first in the world to play it anyway :)
