Tablet for the Pip boy app.
was looking to get an android tablet for this game since its going to have an app to go along with it. Looking for something cheap, considering I'll probably only use it for this. What do you guys recommend?

Erm, be careful with suggesting Kindle Fire.
They don't use Google Apps store but a in house Amazon Kindle app store.
I doubt one will find the game app on Amazon but don't know for sure.
Plenty of cheap android tablets out that use the Google Store, get one of those..

I'll be using my ancient and still working fine Ipad 2.

the amazon store is pretty much the google play store just reskinned and called differently. And most cheap android tablets dont even have enough storage to download apps. Ive had about 4 tablets of android that cost under $100 and i hated all of them. If OP wants a good tablet and relatively cheap, Hisense is a decent brand that i havent had much problems with, but otherwise just go and spend the money on an Ipad. OR better yet if OP has a smart phone they wont need a tablet.

If you want an android tablet stick to the samsungs. Theyre by far the best right now.

Well, I have a Amazon Fire Kindle and I can promise you one DOES NOT find
apps one can find on Google Store. AMazon has a seperate approval stream.
In theory you can 'unlock ' to download from non Amazon source but I refuse to
be that stupid given Androids inherent security flaws due to OEM's not bothering
to keep Android updated.

you have the option but refuse to use it, sound logic. and you do realize you can download the google play store right? or you could get a antimalware subscription form Webroot that protects you and then you can unlock it. I just solved your problem. no need to thank me im here to help

naw they are overpriced as the rest of name brand crap, example apple, microsoft. OP probably doesnt want to spend hundreds of dollars on something they will barely use

Get the biggest tablet you can find. Duct tape it to your arm, and you are good to go! Who needs a Pipboy?

Yeah I was looking at the kindle fire HD. . . but like many of you stated it doesnt use the google app store. . . I read you can still install the apk's but Im not sure I want to go through all the hassle. . . Im looking to spend around 100 bux. I have a cell phone, but want a little bigger screen space.

There is zero benefit to using the phone app while playing the game, except maybe the minigame cartridges....

I think it might. . I seem to waste a lot of time rummaging through my pip boy's in the previous fallout games. . .I think having the seperate screen real estate will simplify things.
Pip Boy app is out now guys - search Fallout Pip-Boy in the app stores
