Report a translation problem
im left handed and use WASD beeing doing so for many years
not while in dialog
though also could be the WASD keys for the dialog options
Looking at the looting, I imagine mousehweel (D-pad on consoles) does up/down, then there's A and X...so translate that to leaked PC controls and you might have a rough idea how dialogue my work as far as PC controls.
that's accessed through the pip boy (TAB)
And like I said there may be farther keymapping options. The book/Presets likely cover the more basic layout (hopefully). If not the new Pipboy UI looks much better so it shouldn't be too bad.
there has never been hot keys for opening quests in fallout why would they change that now?
I started a new game in Oblivion yesterday, I was in the starting dungeon sequence and was trying to loot the body of a mythic dawn member, I kept pressing the "E" key and my character kept on jumping, it didn't cross my mind that the space bar was used for looting, I'm now so used to using the spacebar for jumping, but that was how it was back then.
They swapped the functions of the e key and spacebar back with fallout 3, and stuck to that configuration afterwards.
Once in a while they tend to reconfigure their default key layout.
immersion
also neither Fo3 nor NV had a map hotkey it was always through the pipboy.
Idc either way, as it's not something I'd complain without, and not something a mod can't likely add "Expanded Hotkeys" can already see that on Nexus lol
Just not really ruling it out...you know people weren't even aware you could assign number hotkeys to items on Skyrim's favorites list? (Likely how number assignment will be in FO4 from what we now know...so not like how it was in 3/NV)
