For the old guns quest to get to the minutemen armory? In the generals room. Says its wants me to craft something but no clue what.

Go into craft mode.

You have to go into workshop mode and just scrap it.

you have to open workshop, look at the rubble, and scrap the rubble.

Yeah its very misleading... the girl keeps telling you to get explosives, the the quest marker points at your workshop. I couldnt figure out if I had to build something, or if I just hurled grenades and mines at the entrance or find a shovel.. in the end I had to wiki because if Bethsedas unclear quest writing.
