A bluhbluhbluh that you can't add ballistic weave to literally everything.
Brotherhood Of Steel mod combat armor, at least, offers a grand total of 90 Rad Resist including a helmet (100 rad resist is what Rad X gives, for some comparison), and takes no components to make that mod.
If you add lead lined on top, that's even more rad protection on combat armor (and you can wear your ballistic weave on army fatigues or something underneath it sweetie). So you're well dealt for when it comes to Radiation unless you are trying to jump into a radioactive barrel and be in the glowing sea at the same time.
But most people dissregard BoS combat armor entirely because it's not Shadowed/Polymer.
I may consider this.
