My gun shots are very quiet, but everything else is normal? How do I fix this?

This is 100% game related and I am unsure if its related to a mod. I disabled all mods and the problem persists. I verified the game integrity and I still have this problem though. One useful bit of info I do have however is that when using the jet drug (slow-mo) the guns sound normal... enemies gun sounds are normal, my gun sounds sound like they are coming from accross the map. Any ideas?

I actually did but I forget what I did. I made a post on True Storms mod on what caused it but I can't even figure out how to search my posts or search posts by users on nexusmods. But I have the same username on nexusmods (moccor) so if you know of a way to search it it says how I fixed it

My problem was caused by Towbies Realistic Gun sounds. I think I removed that to fix it. Even though it worked fine before and I didn't mess with it, that was the mod causing the problem

Yes, Nexus Mod Manager doesn't always install gun sound mods correctly so if you manually install the mod(s) it will fix the problem.
