Legendary Bloatfly

[I Am Lemming]

I come across a Legendary Bloatfly and it killed me at the same time I got it.lol So When I load (Almost an hour before:(...) I retrace my steps all over again, and take it out. HOWEVER I can not for the life of me find its cooled dead body to loot.

I guess my question is this, Do Legendary Mobs respawn if not looted? I have spent an hour looking at dead foolage in a small area of a road, and my eyes arfe bleeding. I know the drop/s are brobably not that big of a big deal, but I lost my save so this is a new game, and it will haunt me if I don't know what seacrets it held.

Had the same issue, looked for like an hour. Turns out it was just hidden in a bush and blended in really well.

I tried having him search for container, he turned up nothing, and the other option he just continued to sniff around as I was looking. Does he find bodys, and what option works like that. Maybe I wasn't close to where it was killed?

I think Bloatfly's sometimes explode when killed, and you can't loot their gibs. Maybe you got unlucky and the body despawned / gibbed?

In my experience, 99% of legendary items are useless anyway, so I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it. =P

I've had several bodies just drop through the ground, as well as several legendary creatures, with no legendary item and nothing that could have taken it.

I specifically carry a cheap-ass weapon for killing itty-bitty critters. Decent weapons obliterate them...there goes my lunch.
