Has anyone figured out a way to get the [CLEARED] status for lexington apartments?

Nope. Have not been able to clear them. Also having this issue with a few other locations. Maybe there are glitched locations that due to being glitched can't been cleared? Similar to the locations that couldn't be cleared in The Witcher 3 before a patch fixed the issues.

I don't think I've been able to [CLEAR] the small 'Ranger Cabin' SSW of Sanctuary either. Probably just another glitch. Why is it important anyway?

not every location will give the clear status, its not that you missed any enemys its just the way it is. I search every place thoroughly

Clear Status will ussually be given when you kill the main boss / leader / commander of the enemy, if clear doesn't show when that happens, then that location won't ever have a clear status

To help keep track of locations you don't need to revisit. Thus them being cleared. I also have not been able to clear the USAF Satellite Relay, I think that's what it's called. As well as numerous others locations.

I also search things thoroughly but I would have to be some kind of fool to pretend that I don't miss things from time to time. Then there are the places that are simply not accessible until certain requirements have been met, you have the right quest active, etc.

The fact that I find myself scratching my head over not seeing (CLEARED) under the name of a place I have scoured diligently, is not a good enough reason to start squawking about "glitches". It's simply unknown....puzzling, etc.

Of course, having said that, I am confident enough in my methods that I have little interest in going back to those places whether the PipBoy tells me I'm done or not. I figure, I'll go back when I'm sent there - otherwise, it's done. "Close enough for government work" is fine.

I haven't cleared Lexington Apartments either it would seem.

Ok I'm like almost 600 hours into gameplay so I am going to chalk this one up to lazy programming, a glitch or whatever you want to call it to cover for Bethesdas oversight on the issue. I would say I am extremely thorough in my play style and was bummed when I found out items regenerated.

Squawking about glitches? You sure that's what we were doing o.0

More like pondering whether or not it may be a glitched system. Didn't say it was for a fact. But yes, I am also very OCD when investigating any locations, I clear it of all loot, kill every single enemy and obviously look for any special items, like magazines and Bobbleheads as well as hack every terminal and crack every safe/lock.

600 ? wow I thought I was slow with my gameplay, I'm around 350 hours, still on first playthrough

No, no, I wasn't accusing anyone of anything. I was merely talking about very general things and trying to cut-off an aparent trend that was developing. My impression of the conversation was that it was drifting towards, "if you don't get cleared, it's glitched".

There is an awful lot of that in here lately. Almost every complaint I read about has a simple and obvious solution that either works itself out later in the game (when the player understands what is going on) or it's a matter of style and preferences (something no game can address perfectly since no two players want exactly the same things).

It might be a glitch, I don't know. Because I don't know, I am perfectly content to assume it's an "end-user thing".

Just for the sake of it, how many of these areas that don't seem to get a "[CLEARED]" designation seem like major locations?

By Major Location, I mean is the area significantly dangerous, does it have a "Goodie Chest," and/or is it a standalone location? (Not simply a sub-area to a major location.)

From my experience, Lexington Apartments is none of those things.

It's not a glitch. It means there's a mission/quest available in that area. It won't be cleared until you complete that quest

Care to direct me to the quest page?

Lol you should see the playthrough profiles for the chars that me and my brother played on my xbox from Fallout 3. I think we are both over 5K hours each. Only game I've ever had to buy multiple copies of because we actually wore the disks down to the point they were unreadable. (I think we were on our 3rd disk if I remember right. )
