Dogmeat "croaking" sound is annoying!

WTH is that "croaking" sound that dogmeat makes? It's so unrealistic, and so annoying. He makes it nearly constantly, when not in a fight anyway. I really like the rest of the sounds, we have very good sound systems, and I really don't want to remove the "whine" nor any other sounds that he makes, just the terrible sounding "croaking" sound in the background of his sound. I looked for a mod for that, and I can't find one - not without ruining the rest of his sounds. I would expect this to be just the sort of thing a sound mod would do, but no.

Isn't anybody else annoyed by this sound?

The burping sound? My real life dog burps a lot and farts and makes weird sounds like that one. My dog is all cat and makes all kinds of sounds.

You mean when he makes the 'weh' sound? In the beginning I kept thinking someone else was in the room with us. Freaked me out. lol

I'm not really annoyed by it. Some of the other companions make far more annoying "sounds".

Dogs really can make a lot of unusual vocalizations, though. One of mine used to go "Nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah!" when she wasn't getting what she wanted, now she just goes "Uuuuunnngh". She also goes "Hap! Hap!" when you tell her to speak.
