Anyone know of any mods that allow me to have Dogmeat and any human follower?
The reason I ask is because I think it's strange that they didn't let us do it in Fallout 4, while we could do it in Fallout 1, 3 and NV. (not sure if you can in Fallout 2 as I haven't played much of it) It's not like having Dogmeat around aswell as another companion would make the game easier as he's a pretty mediocre companion.

Yes, mediocre. I'm not interested in the perks, I just want him around. Also, compared to the other companions, he's not all that useful, I just feel bad when I leave him at sanctuary.

Anyway, I'm not here to start an argument, are you able to answer my question?

If i remeber correctly in fo2 you could have many companions at once based on your charisma, however, in fo4 already 1 is a pain, unless you also remove theur collision would be pretty much impossible move around in buildings with 2 or more companions blocking all doors and stairs i think.

Also sneak would be quite a pain with more than 1 follower aggroing all mobs around :P

Yeah, but he opens doors man.

OT: Don't think it's possible to make a (stable) mod like that until the GECK comes out.

Damn, that sucks. Guess I'll just have to wait.

True, I'd probably have to have a mod that fixes their pathfinding and the mod that would allow me to add Dogmeat to the team.

Multiple companion mod will come out eventually. I think.
They had that in Skyrim and Skyrim's pathing finding is... well, pretty ♥♥♥♥. But in FO4 at least you can tell them to stay behind, so if you need to clear a few rooms you can always tell the party to stay there.
It's at such times that I miss NV as you can tell the companions how far away you'd like them to stay behind ya.

Yes, there's a mod that will allow you to have up to 20 followers - anyone, not just ocmpanions.

It'd probably be better to wait until the geck comes out so a few things become availabl, namely:
Companion AI fixes and a companion wheel.

It would be very frustrating just having more companions wandering about getting into havoc and blocking doors as is right now. It's likely the reason they limited it so much (not a good experience).

Yeah I really hate that he takes up the only companion slot. You won't get a well done mod for extending companion slots or introducing new companions until the GECK comes out.
