Playing with 1 Endurance and no DR/ER boosting Perks?
Curious, I just decided to try this. Personally hate playing on harder difficulties because of how "Tanky" everything is. So I decided to NERF my ability to take damage itself.

Curious how many others have thought of doing this? I already noticed by level 13 that I literally have almost no HP as before. Like a full 1/3 less HP so far. lol

Compared to the building perks and such I thought endurance was all just resistance so I just said Meh

I was playing with 1 END till lvl 45ish on first playthrough, Very Hard mode. Until I wanted to branch out and mod the PA/normal armour for look and notice you have to have more than 1 END...

DR kill the game and make it too easy.

lol DR barely works though. Kind of like Skyrim unless you're in triple digits it isn't going to be very noticeable often. Unlike say Fallout NV with it's DT system in which you could literally be bullet proof at times, with maybe 1 HP drop per hit.

Endurance perks sux. every character I made had 1 endurance, even the melee assassin. no big deal when you play it smart.

End 1 is doable, the early game can be tough, use buffout chems to boost you max HP for fights and play smart
I had a DiD melee with 1 END she made it to level 15 till a festering bloatfly poisoned her, these things are a threat even with high END and lifegiver perks.
There is the bobblehead which will boost it for free but its tough to get at low level

You dont need END to mod power armor?

"Tabula Rasa" style. (pd2).

i like your way of thinking.
this game + high difficulty + mods and the command console = 1 epic lego set.. lol.

(no,, in nearly 40, not 4yrz old, but still,, everyone likes lego right?).
lol.

Psychobuff is really helpful if you're playing with a 1 END. My char also lives in his Power Armor.

With or without high Endurance, the bigger difference is your armor yeah. With or without high endurance, the hardest part will be those early levels.

The basic Armor crafting perk is Strength related.

Science is 6 INT. You need at least 1 science for the majority of power armor modifications (such as improving duravility).

So, no. Endurance has nothing to do with armor crafting be it normal or power.

Endurance probably has the least amount of high impact perks in the game, it's mosty quality of life type stuff.

I'd like the durability perk in Endurance more if it wasn't so heavily level gated. 40/50 extra DT is notable (from a normal standpoint, not "LOL I'm stacking two ballistic weave items and armor" standpoint). But they gate that behind level 31 and 46.

So by the time it's high enough to matter, you will already have full sets of upgraded combat armor. And then they hide the energy resistance perk down at EIGHT PERCEPTION.

later on (level60+)some ennemies hit so hard (laser rifle gunner hittign for 100-200 laser damages, which make no sense)that playing with 1end seem extremely punishing...

tried it and find it super annoying.

the tanking dmage of ennmies go throught the roof pretty fast.

usually i play a lot with pseudo rp perk like cannibal and you need 8 END for it...damn annoying.

Yeah. Fo4 does have some nice ideas and mechanics, but one if it's BAD ones is how down the line some random raider veteran wearing half a set of raider armor takes twice as many plasma rifle shots to the face to kill than the raider wearing power armor next to him.

YOUR power armor makes you super amazing, even if you are only using an upgraded suit of t-45. But once your weapons and the enemies reach a certain point, the only reason power armor enemies post any risk is their habit of carrying fatman launchers.

Seriously, level 5 and power armor raider with a fatman launcher. just north of tenpines giving you babies first minuteman quest.

"Things are harder down south" by ass. More like harder if you don't stick to the roads.

had to defend one of my settlment vs a full raider army (more than 20 raider) and 12 of them were in raider power armor. I knwo power armor are common but that was a bit... excessiv.

worse part the power armor guys died faster than their "naked"(was only wearing a single shoulder part) superior took 3 fatman to the face or 8 rockets (and i have full explosiv perk)...
