I do this, but I only do it so that I increase my weight by 100. I dont like to be TOO cheap.

You carrweight should be approximately 325ish. Disable the mod. Use the console command to set your carrweight to 290 (player.setav carryweight 290), then get into some power armor and then exit the power armor. This should reset your carryweight back to the correct level.

I don't know why but getting into and then leaving power armor causes your carryweight to reset to whatever it would be based entirely on your strength and and how many levels of the perk. Probably because Bethesda just modifies carryweight when entering the PA and then resets carryweight when exiting.

I originally tried to do a playthrough without modifying my carryweight, and I got all the way to level 55, but after that the low carryweight just go in the way of my fun so I changed it. Now I'm having a lot more fun since I odn't have to worry about how much stuff I'm carrying.

From a roleplay perspective, I'm not really carrying all the items, I'm just making a mental note of them. When I get to a settlement I control I tell my slaves, er settlers to scavenge all the junk for me. While I actually have to carry all the items, that's because I can't really interact with my Settlers and tell them about the great items I found for them.

I just put player.modav carryweight -174 and got my normal carry weight again. player.setav carryweight 290 did nothing for me when I entered and exited the power armor for some reason.

Just a tip
if you have negative carryweight just add the amount of carry weight using this command
player.modav carryweight [AMOUNT]

That is not possible, the game runs a logic check that will cap the carryweight at around ~15,000,000.

A carryweight limit of 500 is the highest possible vanilla cap.

Check out the below mod, which adds Salvage Beacons :).

Holy jesus mate the game engine just gave up trying to understand that number as it's greater than the game was supposed to read upto.

Annnd because there's the 'calculation' involved with determining buffs based on basicstats(Even such as your actual carry weight, it affects your minimum HP), if it actually succeeded in attempting to recognize your equation, it would then be struggling to even compute your minimum health, basically you confused it till it reverted to a binary understanding, you've effectively given yourself 0 or a negative value, carryweight, I wish we could permanently set it to a binary system, 0 would be unable to hold ANYTHING unassisted and 1 would be unlimited.

Change the carry weight to something the game engine can understand by using "player.setav carryweight 350" or entering and exiting a suit of power armour, this can sometimes reset your carry weight to the appropriate number based on your strength and other stats and equipment.
