Where can I get the rail gun

theres one at big johns salvage. after you kill the supermutants there is a switch by the building and it unlocks a trapdoor in a railcar. just follow the wire from the switch to the railcar. or you can get one from the railroad faction but that one requires railroad work.

Apparently, it's a very rare thing. I find it rather dumb that I can't craft new weapons using schematics what with all the crafting crud but there you have it.

ammo for it is also hard to come by. unless you go from vender to vender just looking for ammo.

I found 5 just searching railcars with a dead railway dood. Probably same dood. I use to spend a lot of time just following the railway.

Is it any good? Because as fun as it was, it wasn't any good in F3.
I could see for myself using console but it's more fun to bother other people :)

I can understand why. I took out a courser in two shots to the head. I didn't even do a sneak shot. The Railway Rifle is extremely powerful.
