S.A.F.E. Test

Is it even possible for the Sole Survivor to fail the S.A.F.E. test in Covenant?

I don't think so, it's still experimental. It's actually the GOAT test from Fallout 3, those dumb people just found it somewhere and thought it was something important..

No - You cannot fail the test in any way.

But i asume it will have impact on companions?

the safe test could be related to charisma points, too low and could fail, very high and always pass

That... would invalidate the entire premise of the test.

You cannot fail.
As you'll find out later in the quest, the test is to help them find synths. You cannot fail the test, you can only seem more synth-like; in which case they will hunt you down like Stockman's daughter. You also find out the test is only right 20% of the time; so in a sort of backwards logic you probably did fail the test.

If you pass both of the persuasion checks in the dialogue with Swanson, you can find it out from him.
