As far as "should you" that's entirely up to you.
Maybe all the perks YOU want... does not mean all perks MAXED... that happens around lvl 275-300...
1. Survival Mode setting
2. Mod: Customize Legendary Enemy Spawning - I increased the frequency in which Legendaries spawn.
3. Mod: Settlement Raiding Mod - Have huge NPC raids on your settlements, including the Castle. Hard and Insane levels are truely that....Good luck!
4. Mod: Mortal Settlers - It makes the above mod that much more challenging. It also means that you have to make your settlers tougher to injure or kill.
5. Mod: Create Your Own Survival Rebalance - I wanted the damage to be more realistic and devestating. I have mine set at 50% and enemy NPC's at 400%.
6. Added mods such as D.E.C.A.Y and others to make the NPCs look and sound tougher.
7. I adjusted the game saves so it rarely occurs on its own, so I have to remember to save the game. It makes dieing more of a pain.
By level 85 you are basically god already.
