purpose of flowers

anyone happen to know the purpose of mutate fern flowers, tato flowers and guard flowers? Well besides eating them and getting horribly radiated in the process.

I'm wondering about that, too. I've been collecting them with the idea that, at some point, I'll be able to use them in healing or cooking recipes.

There are so many plants that it bothers me that we can't use/can't grow.. I hope that it gets remidied soon, either by Beth or the modders I don't care which.

You can give the Mutated Fern Flowers to Solomon, in Diamond City. He will give you caps for each one you bring him. I'm fairly certain that's the only use for those. The rest of those flowers you listed I don't know about. Hope this helps

yeah im kinda pissed i cant plant some of that ♥♥♥♥, like hub flowers blood leaf and tarberry, hell even the fungus would be cool. im guesing it was either somthing that was meant to be added or they just are different food items for healing and thats it.

I believe these plants are required ingredients for chemistry. In other words they are necessary for the making of certain drugs, healing agents, and syringer ammunition. There are also special recipes hidden throughout the world that might use them as well.

i wish they were, ive looked through every chemistry recipe in the game with no mention of these particular flowers

just waiting on a mod that would let me start a hubflower or tarberry farm heh, I need my chems! Grape mentats have shaved many a cap off expensive shipments of rare goods I didnt feel like scrounging for.
