Who steals all the right legs of the Power Armor?

I have several unfinished sets of Power Armor,
but most of the time the right leg is missing.
Doesn't matter which type.

I can understand the scarcity of X01 Helmet, or the missing T-45 helmet for that matter.
Gunner Commanders in der Power armor just beg to be shot in the head. It seems to be their fetish.

But who in the Commonwealth is nicking all those right legs of the Power Armor, or what does he or she do with them?

Even Rowdy has troubles scavenging the missing parts and I do pay her a visit very regularly.

Maybe it was a limping Pirate with a wooden leg?

Likely some Raiders playing Foot Ball in Power Armor. Kickers gotta keep getting new legs to do those epic power armor kicks. =D

It's totally the Atom Cats. They always get their breadhooks on those sweet right legs and leave the rest for us squares. I hear they're building a new fence around their Red Rocket garage, and are using them as fence posts.

Or you'll probably coming across a caravan that has only right leg armour for sale at an oddly high price.

It would be hilarious if all the right legs would have 0/50 durability and there would be Terminal entries about how soldier xyz was shoot in the knee.

On a serious note, is it random, I just got lucky that they rob the right leg for me, or do you experience some kind of pattern, too?

I assume it can become pretty hot inside a powerarmor..removing a leg gives some relieve ^^
