Removing fusion core from generator does nothing?
I've put over 200 hours in this game and I've noticed when you remove a fusion core from one of the big generators it does nothing. The power stay on, doors still function and nothing changes. What's the point of having these large generators that run off these fusion cores if nothing happens when they're removed? Atleast make the building it's powering lose electricity.

Below is a picture of a generator that has the fusion core removed and everything is still functioning as if it was still there.

I can only imagine those reactors are supposed to be auxilary, not primary.

It would be rather interesting if removing a core powered down the lights and terminals in a facility, especially if you're playing a sneaky character with one of the better scopes.
Yeah I believe the fussion core is what keeps the generator going for hundreds of years. Once you remove it though the power will run out in a few years or decades.

Yup, I asked this a few weeks ago.

I had hoped that once you pulled the fusion core, that the electricity in the entire building would cut, which would add to the Stealth Aspect of the game for the people who wanted to play that way.

Instead the stupid little overhead light flickers a few times, and everything goes back to normal

I assume those are not actually generators powering the buildings, but rather recharge devices for the fusion cores being powered by the buildings.

They are batteries after all, and only generate (apparently) enough power to drive a suit of power armour for a span of minutes. Doesnt seem up to the task of powering an entire building.

It also explains them always being fully charged.
