I had hoped that once you pulled the fusion core, that the electricity in the entire building would cut, which would add to the Stealth Aspect of the game for the people who wanted to play that way.
Instead the stupid little overhead light flickers a few times, and everything goes back to normal
They are batteries after all, and only generate (apparently) enough power to drive a suit of power armour for a span of minutes. Doesnt seem up to the task of powering an entire building.
It also explains them always being fully charged.
