How worth it is leveling Intelligence?
Since you get more XP when XP is gained depending on intelligence if I level my intelligence will I get that perk back and more in the long run because I'll level up faster or is the XP bonus not significant enough?

Like: Say I will finish everything and have to quit my playthrough at level ~60 but if I level my intelligence up by one I will instead finish the game at 62+ therefor getting an extra perk to use and being higher level in general or is a single point into intelligence not significant enough?

I leveled my Intelligence up first (all the way to 10), so I could level up quicker, then leveled up my Charisma. This was while I was waiting to get the good perks, of course (gun nut, rifleman, scrounger, caps collector, etc)

Once you get to a high enough level to have every perk you want for your specific build, it is actually in your best interests not to level because of enemy scaling

Anyway, intelligence is used in some checks (it replaces the repair skill being one of the ones I remember) so if you are the kind of person that likes to pass skill checks, it is worth leveling just for that.

100% to 130%

Yes you would gain alot more xp than just being 62.

Also most of the perks there are very very usefull. Better stimpacks/give full health, able to mod guns, able to mod energy weapons and other weird weapons, able to hack terminals, able to hack robots and make them do whatever you want.

from my experince. INT apparently made hacking a little easier. dont know if that is a coincidence or not.

Higher INT removes possible passwords from the list, so you have fewer options and are less likely to use all your tries.

I went intelligence 3 with idiot savant perks . You get xp like crazy with this perk even once it's at 10 int. Right now im at int 6 just to unlock jet pack for my power armor. So it's pretty much a dump stat.

if you have 10 intelligence and Idiot savant its even more amazing. I still get the bonus every couple xp gains.

I have heard a lot of people favoring Luck and Idiot Savant for this release. I personally like the perks down the Intelligence path, and went 8 Int to start. The repeatable faction quests will give you all the experience you need, though, no matter what. I seem to level past my equipment, then have to broaden my perk selections to make up for it. Has been a great journey so far.

Im not sure luck as anything to do with the rate of idiot savant. Check the net to be sure before spending points in luck.

Its 3% per point - so at 10 INT its a 30% bonus to XP.

I've found my low int mid luck character has been leveling up extremely fast with Idiot Savant Rank 2. Int is worth it for the perks like Scrapper, Hacker and Science but in terms of XP gains investing in Idiot Savant seems much more profitable.

You'll get close to an extra level if you finish at level 60. The break even point depends on how high your INT is though, since each successive level is 75XP more than the previous one.
