Issue with Chameleon legendary armor.

I flipped when I found a Chameleon metal armor piece when I saw that it gave you Stealth Boy like invisibility when sneaking and sitting still... but theres a problem... it makes your PipBoy insanely bright to look at (not meaning the flashlight use) and unreadable. Anyone know of a mod or something that would remove the insane brightness?

Have you tried adjusting the color settings in the Display menu? You can make it any color you want, including adjusting the whiteness/brightness levels.

This also changes the color of your flashlight.

I'm having this issue as well, the problem is the brightness difference between the background and foreground colors of the PIP display is pretty much the same when you are stealthed. Changing the color of the HUD does not seem to fix the issue, it only changes the hue. Visually what seems to happen is the background color of the PIP display becomes super bright,nearly as much as whatever is being displayed on it. Makes browsing throught the inventory, looking at the map, or any other function almost impossible. The only option when wearing a chameleon armor piece is to uncrouch before opening the PIP.

+1 here. Pip Boy essentially becomes unusable when wearing any chameleon armor.

You can sometimes get your pip-boy to work in cameleon mode.

Just stop and wait 3 sec before you open the pip-boy. If you try and use it while moving or too fast the flash effect from the cameleon effect will render it useless.

Sometimes this doesn't work. So you can stand and use your pip-boy. Not an ideal solution but, something you can do until they fix it.
