I think I'll consider starting a new game - dragging out my FO4 experience is in my best interests anyway as DLC is probably a while off still

@OP. If it's worth anything... i remember in Fable 2 if you used a potion to change it never corrected the gender reference from the NPC's, they still thought you were what you were previously etc..

When you change your player gender you lost some Perks (Due a changed specified gender) you must need to readd using some console commands.
Another thing is if you revisit Vault 111, your couple is the same sex than you.
Normally players Voice don't change...
Sometimes Father got broken and not talk with you making impossible to continue game and need to restart game from the beginning.
