white combat armor?
So I got some combat armor, finally got the materials to put some cool mods on.... and its white, instead of green? doesn't really match anything except the synth uniform (all the synth ♥♥♥♥ is spectacularly ugly too). Why is this? I looked on the wikia and pretty sure its supposed to be green and match the fatigues clothing. Am I missing something? Is there a way to dye it so I don't look like a fat stormtrooper?

It could be that you've got the Polymerized Combat Armor, which is a terrible white color rather than say... green for default or black-blue for Shaddowed.

It' the polymer used, essentially it's the Anchorage version of the combat armour.

Ii stopped wearing armor so early on in game, I never got to the ugly stuff. Ballsitic V weaved an atom cats and reggie's outfit, with each leg with sprinters 10% leathers and a ballitstic weave fedora. well over 200+ protection and energy resist and weighs less than 20 lbs total.

It really makes you wonder what Bethesda was thinking when they made these ugly armors and guns. It would've been nice if they let you customize the look of your armor instead of getting stuck with this junk.

Can't you mod it to not be polymer in the armor workbench.?

Yeah, I think so.
I'd recommend Shadowed. It looks cool and it makes you harder to find if you're in shadows.

The thing is you can mod clothing with ballistic weave that allows you to wear armor over top. It lets you maximize your armor ratings...but also it could let you use the better green for combat armor rather than "needing" to mod it to max armor values.

Just go and make it the material you want it to be.. easy
