Do power armor mods like Stealth Boy and Jet Pack require an extra fuel?
IE do I need stealth boys for stealth boy, oil/gas cans for jetpack, stuff like that. Also, if not, does using it drain the core faster?

I'm not sure about stealth but using the Jetpack will use up your core faster, yes.

I don't think the stealth mod uses any resources (I didn't notice an extra drain when using it),
but the jet pack uses action points and adds to the drain on the fusion core when in use.

Also drains your AP for some reason that only makes sense to Bethesda.

All Ap use drains core, jetpack drains ap.

Unsure on stealth boy, but I assume none since it doesn't directly use ap.

it meakes clear sense to me too, if you are loosing APs when running, it is just logical that you will loose APs when flying

Jet pack and Stealth boy mod use only your AP. Jetpack when you jump, and stealthboy when you are crouched stationary.

In FO4, AP seems to represent physical ability ( + traditional VATS), which makes sense that it drains when you sprint, bash, steady your aim, or power attack.

Jetpack draining AP is literally the only mechanic in the entire game that does not follow this logic.

From a gameplay standpoint, I understand that it was simply easiest to use AP as a makeshift limiter to the ability to use those skills, but thematically it's inconsistent w/ the rest of the game.
