but the jet pack uses action points and adds to the drain on the fusion core when in use.
Also drains your AP for some reason that only makes sense to Bethesda.
Unsure on stealth boy, but I assume none since it doesn't directly use ap.
In FO4, AP seems to represent physical ability ( + traditional VATS), which makes sense that it drains when you sprint, bash, steady your aim, or power attack.
Jetpack draining AP is literally the only mechanic in the entire game that does not follow this logic.
From a gameplay standpoint, I understand that it was simply easiest to use AP as a makeshift limiter to the ability to use those skills, but thematically it's inconsistent w/ the rest of the game.
