Nope
And if it's called morphine in Japan then it was originally called morphine and was just changed because Australia kicked up a fuss.
If you were old enough to play fallout 3 you would know the community was up in arms about Bethesda changing the name just because of Aus and that is why there are mods (yes there were about 5 or 6 if I remember right just for FO3) for both FO3 and NV.
It's been a running point of contention that Bethesda wilted to most of the world just because of one country kicked and screamed but you think it's lore based. Good luck with that.
PS you might want to read into some of the history of this.
Med-X fits better. No other drug in the series has a real world name.
I'd care if Australia pitched a fit so hard that the core game was changed. Would I care that they changed the name of one consumable from a real world thing to a thing that doesn't exist but fits the game universe better? No, not really. In fact I'm kind of glad they did because I like Med-X better.
He was mature enough to not have a fit over the simple naming of a video game item probably. One hopes that others will mature as well, but 6 pages of fussing add doubt.
