Perhaps more usefully I CAN say that going Minutemen works well with a slow playthrough but will drive you crazy if you want to push on through the main story.
My main reasoning is to just have more post ending gameplay (sidequests with each faction etc.) But also to avoid all of the unessecary deaths for roleplaying purposes
And the minutemen ask you to destroy BOS?
Well it did for me at least :/
I didn't have the option to leave the institute as such and ended up having to do either BoS or Railroad.
I googled the minutemen quest line to be sure and that's how I was able to go back and do their ending, if you talk to either Railroad or BoS about the relay you will not get a key quest that continues the minutemen path.
Also if like me you build your relay anywhere you like it will be Railroad by default - I even built my relay at the castle thinking it would choose minutemn but nooop :(
I found a walkthrough that said something about that quest being active if you had worked with BoS then changed you mind to help minutemen, something about a BoS NPC not being happy and then it triggers the quest.
Anyone know how to get the "peaceful" ending?
Yeah I think i'll go minutemen, hopefully the ending isnt anticlimatic though
