Can't find Deacon

Hi, so I can't find deacon. I've tried using console commands to move me to him, but it just spawns me at sanctuary Hills with him nowhere to be found. I've also tried moving him to me with console commands, but that didn't work either.
Please help.

Did you just aquire him as a companion? If that's where you're at, he stays at the Old North Church in the headquarters of the Railroad, if you send him somewhere. Check there. I lost him too, and I found him there.

I barely begun the raillroad missions yet, but did you check the church where you found him originally the one with the red line puzzle?

Yes I've aqcuired him as a companion. The weird thing is that I'm using a console command to bring me to him, and it keeps bringing me to a set location. He isn't at the location though

Look where I said under the black. :) If you sent him to a settlement from there, he didn't go. He's just standing around there in the original place.

Maybe you are in the middle of one of his quests and he's waiting for you at a set location to continue the quest. That would explain why you can't move him.

He's right in front of you, he's just in disguise.
