It might not looks so pretty or perform as well, not sure....
This is largely because of the high resolution Texture Files which are used for everything (Bushes has a texture file of 2048x2048, and they are the smallest ones). Which has created a big problem on even moderately good and high end rigs.
So if you get the game and it Chugs... don't jump immediately to the 'Get a new CPU/GPU!' as that might not fix all your problems.

People have pointed out that the Optimized Texture Overhaul isn't being super effective (3-4% increase in frames?), and i personally don't understand how the textures he is overhauling are 'optimized'. When i got the mod it decreased my frame rate and caused my game to seize up.
the Vivid Textures on the other hand is a pretty straight forward change - cutting the resolution size of Landscape files (the most common texture you'll pull) in half, and i've noticed a marked performance increase in my game, as some zones which i found unplayable are now perfectly fine.
