Windows 11: FO4 looks shaky
My old PC crashed and I got a new one with windows 11. Here are my specs.

- HP Omen 30L GT13-1174, 16GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 5600G CPU (6 cores), C: drive is an SSD and that's where Steam and FO4 are installed
- Nvidia RTX 3060 12GB video card with NVideo Control Panel and NVideo GeForce Experience, GeForce drivers v512.15 (the latest)
- Windows 11 Home. DirectX 12
- One 24.5" monitor, Lenovo with nVideo G-sync 144Hz refresh rate (game only runs at 60Hz)
- Malwarebytes with game dir whitelisted.

My system: Fallout 4 v1.10.163 (with 6 DLCs: Nuka World, Far Harbor, Creation Club, Contraptions, Wasteland Workshop, etc) installed on E: hard drive. I use Vortex Mod Manager to manage mods. These mods are active: the Cheat Terminal 1.69, Headshot Damage multipliers 1.0, Keep Radiant quests in Commonwealth v1.11, Legendary Modification v1.75 to make weapons legendary, Loot Detector 3800, Shaikujin's Better Warning v5.1.

I updated my NVideo drivers to the latest Game drivers. They also have Studio drivers which worked better on my Windows 10 machine but I'm not using Studio drivers here.

PROBLEM: When I'm moving the mouse around the graphics look shady and unstable. I can't describe it. It's not stuttering it just makes me a bit dizzy and disorientated.

When I first ran FO4 it said "Cannot determine your graphics" or something like that, and gave me low res graphics. Then I manually reset the graphics to higher res, turned off wetness. Also, while the monitor supports 144Hz the game only runs at 60Hz. The game runs in the monitor's native resolution.

Any idea what I can do to improve the game look?

EDIT: I Turned off all anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering and it seems to look better.

With a Nvidia GPU, the option in the advance start up settings for graphics, Nvidia HBAO+ will give you a better visual experience. At least it did for me. Also, FO4 does not support a 144hz , without some other outside programs. It was designed to run at 60 fps on a 60 hz monitor. At 1920 x 1080 max resolution.

But since you use mods and I use none, I can not help you beyond those two suggestions.

Ok, there's something else causing my game to lag, something running in Windows I think. FO4 audio lags sometime as does my character moving.

I had to turn off more stuff like Antialiasing, Anisotropic filtering, Vsync, and make sure my Windows screen res was the same as the FO4 resolution, and also I made FO4 Windowless Mode and Borderless. I'm seeing some improvements there.
