That said one of the settings in the .ini (don't recall which one off the top of my head, but it'll have "shadow" in its name) can give you what you seek.

Also running with an i7-4790k & a 980ti. The engine can't handle it. It isn't a hardware problem but an optimization issue. Plain an simple.

i also have the same issue with my 6700k and 980ti.
Its Ambient Occlusion and no one has found the settings to adjust its range yet.
