2 things possible:

1) It's not in range of a conduit. They have a small range (IIRC 3 wall squares in a sphere).
2) Try storing it in the workshop and replacing it. There is a glitch where after moving them too much that particular one stops working.

Yeah, sometimes they're just not in range, my ceilings end up patterned with a jigsaw of crossing lines and conduits.

I REALLY hope, a DLC or mod comes out with wall and ceiling panels with inbuilt conduits, ie, the ceiling panel requires the materials for a ceiling panel and the materials of a conduit, provides the same benefit, without the freaking wires everywhere.

Build a conduit and wire it up to a generator near the range of the lightbulb.

More likely a mod that increases the range of conduits is what we'll see.

you dont have to attach wire directly to any light bulb

just attach that thing a ma jig to the wall

and all lights attached to that wall or building will light up

Conduits only have like an 8 foot radius in all directions, you may need to move one closer.

I guess, but a wall panel, especially if someone makes 'institute' high tech building components, plastic walls, with built in conduits makes sense.

I know you don't need a wire directly to a bulb, but i tend to cross hatch a ceiling, get full coverage then don't have to worry about placement... I'm obsessive about junk collecting, so copper etc isn't an issue.

0/10 ligthbulb doesn't even illuminate room, GOT Witcher 3 has all working light bulbs.

I think the guy has a problem with the lightsource itself and how it works, not it beeing unpowered.
I tried using the hanging lightbulbs and although they look pretty, especally from far away, they don't illuminate the area too much. As opposed to the yellow wall lights, which seem to be a much brighter lightsource.
Unless I am wrong and he didn't mean that... I know I was disspaointed with that though.

I literally guffawed quite heartily.

But yea all the lights suck at being lights. There are several mods on nexus that increase the illumnination of them so that they actually aren't terrible.

I literally hung like 48 or more of those light bulbs in my rec center at Sunshine Tidings - that long metal building near the edge, right near the fire pit, and the room is still basically dark with all of them on (without mods)

Too bad that we don't have the technology required for a flaming barrel. That would do the trick :)

I was peeved that my ability to hang lights all over the big tree in sanc seemed limited... a few would hook up near the trunk... I wanted a purty tree with fairy lights damn it!
