Does the Brotherhood of Steel hate ghouls (normal ghouls)?
If you take Hancock onto the Prydwen, Lancer Captain Kells remarks "You're treding a fine line with that ghoul on board".

While I agree feral ghouls must be exterminated, normal ghouls are simply humans who have suffered at the hands of massive radiation.

I would like to know the Brotherhood's view on regular ghouls before I support them in the main mission.

Does anyone have any lore, conversations or other evidence that indicates their position?

They are neutral for non-feral, but really don't like them. Kinda stupid since they're humans that need help. No doubt if the Institute made some research about it, they could help them in their conditions. They already got a cure for the FEV.

As for proof, well I haven't seen BoS trying to whipe out the ghouls in Goodneighboor.

"we have all this advanced technology and we cant cure common cold"

also they didnt cure Shaun from his condition

The exact position on what to do with/against ghouls change with whoever gets to be in charge. In FO3 the leader was quite liberal(to the point where the most conservative BoS members left the main chapter) whereas in FO4 the leader took the BoS to become an Army of wasteland nazis with pretty much zero tolerancy towards anything not 100% pure human

ghouls .. regular ones tend to go feral sometimes
depending on their 'degradation' there even was an incident in diamond city that lead to exiling every single ghouls from the city

so yes BOS also hates them aswell
and honestly i cant blame them
if i was a hideous walking corpse knowing that i would someday turn feral and attack innocent people or my friends

i would either shoot myself in the head or lived in exile somwhere far away from populated areas
Well, as long as I get to keep Curie [/spoi I'll gladly join them.

If you go to The Slog, Wiseman tells you about a ghoul that went feral In a major city, so yes.

Ok cool, then I guess I have more reason to join the Brotherhood now in the main questline.

I would agree with them if they side against non-ferals, given this new information. Beforehand I was a bit reluctant, as I thought non-ferals deserved to be treated like humans did.

But seeing as though they are a danger to humanity...well then.

Consider though, that most moral non-feral ghouls, when faced with a 'brain melt' will probably eat a bullet first.

Based on what? Is this your opinion or something documented in-game?

BoS are raging murderous bigots. Even if they don't have a great reason to hate and kill, they'll find a way to fold it into their bogus credo.

The reason is that Bethesda's Brotherhood of Steel is not The real Brotherhood of steel. It's a Shame to the true BoS.

No they don't. They don't know why some ghouls go feral, and others don't. There was a doctor researching ghouls in Fallout 3. There are many prewar ghouls that didn't go feral. There hasn't been a definite answer of why, but we do know that there are people such as Carol from Underworld, the Ghoul in Goodneighbor etc were all prewar ghouls, so time plays no part.

Undoubtedly yes because they aren't normal. Enclave does for certain.

And no, only someone who hasn't played FO4 would still cry that it "isn't the real BoS". It is on par with New Vegas BoS and as close as it gets.

Maxson and the paladins in FO4 are actually worse than the BoS in New Vegas. At least in New Vegas the local chapter gives the NCR somewhat of a chance (until you replace the Elder). If Maxson were there, he'd have attacked HELIOS immediately and killed all the NCR.

Proper confirmation would be good. I am very interested in knowing if that is the case, that non ferals eventually will turn feral.

There is no confirmation because 220 years later you can still find ghouls who were created at the time of the nuclear apocalypse or even before and all those ghouls are still perfectly normal. So there simply isn't sufficient proof that all ghouls will eventually become feral ghouls.

Speaking of the Enclave, did anyone else find it odd, that it wasn't mentioned in 4 at all? Maybe i just missed it.

Because helping actual humans isn't important to the Institute anymore.
