Fallout 4 offline download for PC?

I have purchased the fallout 4 (PC version) and activated the game in steam. To complete the entire installation, the game wants to download 24gb from internet, which my slow home internet connection cannot afford.

Is there a way to download the remaining part through any other media (or from my office internet) ?

I paid $80 to get this DVD, still havent started this game.

There are ways but most are considered questionable. You could get a friend to download it and then copy across the data from a memory stick or portable HD.

You could log into steam at work and download it, put it on a memory stick and then do it that way.

i got slow internet too and this is a way that i use to download all my games: when you leave in the morning stand up 2 min before your normal time(you don't have to do it). startup your pc and download the game. when you come back from work or school your game is finished or almost done, depends on the size. and if the game is still not done you will continue the next morning:) just try it, it might help

well here is the problem, at my office, i have mac, at home windows. it seems i cant download using my mac. WTF?

Fallout 4 doesn't have native Mac OSX support. So that could be why you can't download it. Never had a Mac, don't know how Steam treats downloads on systems that don't support games from the OS.
