mirv launcher on fatman worth it?

its sh!t. Does a lot of damage, but the range is so low you will almost always kill yourself with it. regular Fat man is way better.

With the bigboy legendary it is really worth it. Yes it's close range (ish) but the ability to instantkill groups of deathclaws (lengendary's) is well worth it.

Dont truest the damage number, it does far more than that. Its mainly just a safety mod. You loose the ability to choose the distance, but it also means you wont ever accidently blow your self up for using it too close. It will always cover an area right infront of you.

i did some testing even if MIRV launcher has ♥♥♥♥ range compared to regular nuke
i tested it out on Big Boy took 2-3 shots to kill a raider boss in that place where Forged are on survival difficulty ... switched to MIRV it took a SINGLE SHOT to kill a Mirelurk queen which had a lot more health and damage resistnace

yeah MIRV all the way .. just watch where you shoot that thing and for the love of god ... never use VATS with MIRV unless you like dying a lot

What happens if you use it in VATS?

it will land under your feet killing you instantly
because it requires to be fired from pretty steep angles (like a mortar) to use it safely
which in VATS you cannot do

I used it with non issue, the range was fine. Its damage is lower but it hits a wider area

its not lower its actualy a lot higher than regular mini nuke
whenver its a glitch or not you will kill a single target a lot faster with MIRV than with regular nuke

I am SO disappointed with this. I found a ' Lucky Fat Man' Took it to the workshop, and added the MIRV mod. The thing launches 2 sixpacks of mininukes. But only registers as 96 damage. If anything it should be "OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!"
