Fallout 4
Dissapointed with Vault-Tec regional HQ....
Two terminals and an elevator... that's it? Seriously?

I have expected more from terminals overall. They do seem light on reading, clues., etc.

As for the vault HQ I hunted around expecting a hatch or locked door to the real HQ! Yeah, bit sad really.

Terminals too yeah.

I guess "immersive" lore now is reading in terminals when is the next scheduled meeting of CEOs and how good the stocks are
I actually stopped reading terminals after i saw the file about vault 95 recieved huge supply of jet in 2076 or 77. It is just wrong

Pretty uninspired vaults. Only the one with the kids was somewhat ok

well outside from vaults the only immersion i got was from mayoral bunker on western side of the map. That place was sad. Also had suprises innit
Guys, you're forgetting about the plastic pumpkin right there on the front desk. Forget bobbleheads, magazines, or legen-waitforit-dary weapons, plastic pumpkins and coffee cups are where it's at.

Seriously though, there's a ton of desks and containers in here. I'm just reaching the third floor and I've already collected a ton of junk (nothing special but all of it useful), a couple hundred caps, a couple hundred mores worth in ammo, and I've put down half a dozen ghouls, including a legendary (got a lame cryo pool cue). Maybe the place is level dependent? Or the Vault Tec DLC added some stuff...

Ok, third floor clear, found a safe, more ammo and money. The place isn't anything special, but then it's only a 'regional' HQ, it wouldn't be too fancy. There's certainly nothing great there, but not nothing at all. I definitely walked out richer. It's worth a five minute loot run.
Holy hell the necro
Less than a year old, an initiate could have brought this back from the dead.

I forgot the basement... found a mini nuke and a plunger.
I don't have this DLC yet and may never get it as I have found relying on Beth for immersion is a bit of a let down. Skyrim alone has 300+ mods on it to create an immersive feel for me, another 250+ on new vegas. Just wait for the community to fix the immersion problem, it takes time but it doesn't cost you anything...

This was necroed by VirulentGunk over there, the post was made in December of 2015 before the vault-tec workshop, this is an actual place you can come across.
Oh, well, good to know. I'll see if there is some comments about the DLC in another thread, but what I said holds. The community is the solution ot the immersion problem, not Bethesda. ;P
When people stop looking for a shooter and more rpg elements then they may add more to their games.
Makes me sad that this building was SO EMPTY of anything. Yes, you fight ghouls and read

terminal entries about 2-3 OTHER numbered Vaults but the depth and atmosphere contained

little interest.
Yeah maybe if it led to its own Vault? Duh? Pretty disappointed in VT HG. And considering it is Vault Tech I it would have made sense to make it relatively as massive as Trinity Tower.

"Regional" HQ. it's just a small base for Boston locally, not the main Vault Tec HQ.

+ Why necro a 7 year old thread?
