Ok, this might be the problem, and you will definitely facepalm if this is the case, but did you plug the monitor into your graphics card, or the motherboard output? Also, try opening whatever graphics card utility you have and force the game to use your dedicated card. I really hope that's all there is to it. If everything is plugged in correctly, do what Scarecrow said.
Thus when playing Fallout 4, I 1st change the resolution in windows, to a compatible resolution, before launching the game. If your also used to such resolutions as 1280 x 1024, I suggest changing the resolution in windows, to 1280 x 800. This should properly widescreen and center Fallout 4 for you.
1280 x 960 may also work, but I prefer the 1280 x 800.
Not gonna lie, I'm new to PC gaming, had my old PC for less than a year before upgrading, and I'm not entirely familiar with the hardware, but there isn't only one place I am able to plug in my monitor so....
I have an issue with Battlefield 4 saying I have an outdated driver but I've since updated my driver directly from AMD twice and though that hasn't fixed the Battlefield issue my computer does say that the new driver is installed
Also whether or not I find a solution I would like to thank everyone for their time and effort, I'm sure you all have better things to do so it's very appreciated
