BIG BUG - no Pipboy anymore (cant use inventory)

Hello fellow Wastelanders,

I´ve a big bug, and i dont know what to do. I walked through the Wasteland with my T51d Armour a whole bunch of time and got some stuff from everywhere. after about 2 hours and lot of saving and loading (couse of death) i got back to sanctuary and got out of that armour, when i recognized, i dont have any clothing on (only the boxershort) and the pipboy is lost too. Its gone completly. so i got back in that armour and here i can use the internal pipboy. But when getting out, nothings there. i see my naked arm, with nothing to click. Ive tried to disable my mods (Darker night and stuff like this) but it doesnt seem to a bug from them. i remember to had a misson where i found some settlers, which tried to rob me, by saying i can everything after i give them all my stuff... there i got completly naked. but i loaded an old savegame and all got well.

I only can load an old savegame (20 hours earlier) where the pipboy is still on me. But i hope to get a better help, becouse 20 hours lost in this game is so frustrating :(

Well thats a problem. I dont have a solution, i would check the game for missing data though or try to conntact Bethesda. Or if you still cant figure it out after doing all of that, use the internet. i am sure you are not the first one with this problem :)

You can try to use "player.equipitem 00021b3b" in the ingame console in order to get your pipboy back.

Save the game, load the save, the pipboy should return.

Ive had a similar issue and switching from third to first person helps return it but I'm not sure if my pipboy has ever actually gone missing from my arm. On a plus point, its happy times for modders cause I'm sure in fallout 3, if you removed the pipboy it made ones forearm disappear :)

Try as DasBenni said and that may work.

Out of interest, have you had any mods installed? it doesnt matter if you have removed them as some settings can be locked into saves.

Dasbenni's solution worked for me, thanks guys.
Strange how it unequipped my pip-boy though, you can normally only do that through the console.

My issue was slightly different, I was in my T-51 and upon leaving the institute I lost my Pip-Boy, all my clothing was still equipped however.

Life saver, 2 year old post. Still a life saver.

The bug is caused by Creation Club! Watch out! You can Scrap your PipBoy in the Armor workbench (which is stupid lol) if you do it, even loading a save wont bring it back. player.equipitem 00021b3b
Is the only fix i found!

most of the posts in this topic are from well before the creation club existed, so it wasn't caused by the creation club.

Was confused for a long time on how to get the pipboy to show up again after I installed some mods, then uninstalled them and this was still happening and this small command solved it, thanks! :D

the power armour might be unequipping it becasue mine was just unequiped
