and don't cheat :P
I was thinking why I would keep the cure... couldn't be sold for much. Then hours later I look at my effects
Because, sometimes, you just wanna fly around with a jetpack-enfused suit of power armor and then land in a group of a 100 raiders you spawned below.
In short: Shenanigans. But yeah, if you're actually playing seriously? Pffft, just deal with it. Or not get hit by one of the rats to begin with.
Going to try that quest with about 30 stealth boys and see if I can completely avoid getting hit.
@Dance: When you try it, don't take a companion with you. Many people say this quest is bugged, so even if YOU don't get hit, your companion will give you the disease anyway.
I don't usually cheat, but that quest was the one circumstance where I found the choice so incredibly pointless that I just spawned an extra cure.
In essence there really should have been no "choice". At best it would be give the current cure to the child and embark on a quest with Curie to find materials for a second dose or keep the cure for yourself because I guess you're just an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. That's really all it had to be, but it wasn't so screw it I cheated.
