Also, "gaming laptop".
If you do try it then consider the low texture pack mods on the nexus as streaming with that very slow HD will be painful. Also put your laptop in high performance mode in power saving options and prefer Max performance in nvidia control panel.
Theres also a lot of INI tweaks that could help if you are feeling adventurous.
Check out the Asus ROG series (the prices might make your nose bleed though).
My gaming notebook is a year old with an i7 4700HQ, GTX 860m (960m), 16GB DDR3, SSD, HDD etc, and it will run this game but really only at about 30-45fps. It's pretty frustrating, but it's like having a slightly more powerful and very mobile PS4 that you can use mods on so it's fine for the few times I'm away from my desktop (in profile).
Anyways, the GTX 950m is decent, but it's not great.
Runs at clean ultra consistant 60FPS.
Crashed for the first time yesterday after spawning 100 gatling laser BoS troops and one Shaun. Those lasers.... Oh then I nuked the BoS. With a x2 projectile nuke. Was playing around for the first time. Wanted to see how far I could push it before it froze/crashed.
Id say Laptops do a fine job.
A NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M is more suitable. Since you state that money isn't necessarily an object, a gaming laptop from MSI, Asus or Acer with GTX 970M would be an acceptable choice.

You probably have good reasons to go for a laptop, but the reality is that a fairly small Mini-ITX system is better suited to gaming than a clunky laptop. I bit the bullet and got a second gaming desktop for the office.
It comes with a built in monitor and keyboard (buy a mouse to use), and can play the newest games with the right specs anywhere there is a power outlet.
