More interesting (and less hypocrytical, Hi New Vegas 40mm grenades, etc etc) than complaining about .38 ammo.
Who?
But the game said that T-60 was build pre-war. Therefore, the BoS either had to find some working suits or have the Blueprints to know how to build T-60.
So they collected it on their way to Boston?
I blame them for finding only five .45 bullets and a silver spoon (and a basic pipe gun) in nearly every Master lock safe I open.
I also blame them for why every cap stash still only has 7-14 caps in it, when I'm level 44. Clearly they are ****ing with me.
The BoS had looted alien gun ammo in their stores in previous games, it totally fits! maybe. I'm not crazy!
Which is limited because of the Aliens!
It makes just as much sense if you are desperatly grasping for lore reasons.
Have you been taking the scrounger, fortune finder, or scrapper perks? If not, those help. If so, then wow, you ARE getting gyped.
Furthermore, it has been 200 years, so people could probably figure out how to make stuff like this. That makes more sense to me; otherwise, it'd be the equivalent of us in this day and age using the same weapons that were used in the War of 1812 or Napoleonic Wars.
But the game is vastly different when you live off your loot alone, with no economy or loot perks (and 4-5 luck).
I mean, I get that your stuff is better with those perks. But it seems the general mindset is "well I get plenty with my factory of slave shops pumping out thousands of caps a day and 2-4 ranks of scrounger! So therefore, your Default Gameplay Experience doesn't count."
Besides which, I shouldn't be finding super loot in unlocked footlockers compared to freaking master lock safes
EDIT: For comparison. My latest unlocked open steamer chest in some otherwise worthless location of no note? Piles of ammo, assorted grenades, and a silenced reciver upgraded gauss rifle. This kind of good **** is average for a lot of simply sitting out in the open unlocked conainers for me at the level 40+ range.
Meanwhile, my last dozen master lock safes have single didgit .38 and .45 ammo, maybe a silver knife, and a default pipe gun. (EDIT: I finally took two ranks of scrounger some levels back and.... Safes are the same as before for me, really).
The only times master safes without some pre scripted special loot have had stuff worthwhile, were when they were in banks alongside expert and advanced safes holding just as much, or more, pre war money inside them.
I mean, I got the perks mostly for those occaions where it lets me into a building without looking for a water sewer pipeline into a basement full of mirelurks or something. But it's just silly how little safes give you compared to random open containers.
Its totally Legit to Blame it on them :P
