McCready quest is bugged [Minor Spoiler]

I cannot unlock the terminal in the MedTek facility, although the quest description claims that McCready already gave me the password. He wont talk to me about it, even if I walk all the way back into the room again or have him stand right beside the terminal.
Somehow the dialogue to get that password doesn't get triggered.

I also tried to unlock the terminal by typing 'unlock' in the console, but it doesn't work. Any ideas on how to finish this quest? :l

Is the password in your inventory?

No. I do have an item called 'Jacob's password' in my inventory, but that one is from another sidequest from Covenant.
Kind of stupid that there are two 'Jacob's passwords' in the game. When I interact with the terminal I get the message: 'Jacob's password required'.. but yeah it's just another one.
Maybe the problem is that I can't have both of these?

I read, that McCready gives you the password when you arrive at the terminal, and I also read that other people bypassed the problem by using the unlock command. Sadly that doesn't work for me.

This quest is bugged for me as well, but in a different way. It says I need to take Macready to Med-Tek Research. However, there is no map marker anywhere on my map. Med-Tek doesn't show up on my map anymore, and when I go to the quest and click "show on map", it just shows my current location on the map. I am going to attempt to look up the location on Google right now and take him there anyway to see what happens.

EDIT: Manually walking to Medtek fixed the problem. And to the original poster: Jacob's password is the password Macready gives you to hack the terminal. It isn't for another quest. Jacob's password is required in order to hack this terminal. He handed me the paper, I walked up to the terminal and activated it, it logged me in. That was it.

Maybe you haven't been to Covenant and received the other Jacob's Password before?
There are still 2 with the same name in the game.
Maybe McCready just didn't really give me "his jacobs password".

When did he give you the paper? In the Med-Tek building or at the beginning of the quest?
