We need better control over them. A hot key for commaning them so we don't need to look at them for starts.
I seem to have the opposite problem, that they become bloodthirsty the second a threat is around. I turn around, and they are gone, usually right in the thick of the enemies where they quickly get their ass kicked.
This has been my experience to, whenever I've cleared out a section of a building/dungeon/something and start looting until I'm overburdened, I can never find my companion to unload some junk to them since they've always detected an enemy somewhere far off on another floor that they've decided needs killing right now.
MORE aggresion will only mean companions will be aggresive and seek enemies and pick on fights (break your stealth), and never know when to run away to fight another day (foolhardy run into land mines and hail of bullets or missles.)
we need less aggresion and more tactical awareness for companions.
yeah I had the same trouble with them they just stand there staring at me while mobs of ferals pumb them . XD funny thing is that it happens again and again, then sometimes they even stare at the feral until it touches them. I'm glad your mentioning this dumb problem.

By the way, how many pages do you have to scroll back to find 2 year old threads?
[oh it's necro, still try it].
