Ok which settlement has decent pre-war buildings?
I want to be a lil Caesar of my own, having a good house I can try to fix and my slaves sleeping in shacks. Eventually another pre-war house for my most faithful servants.

So far :

- Covenant is bugged and too tiny.
- Drive-in doesn't fit my tastes
- Sanctuary is good but I'm wondering if there's not any other option.
- The Castle is great but I want something else
- Spectacle Island maybe ? I went there but didn't really explored the place, I went there mainly for the bobblehead

Any ideas ? :(

Sunshine houses are in decent shape, even still have roofs. You can even take the house on the hill overlooking the others.

They are all about the same, just try to perfectly aling wood floor pieces over holes and patch up the walls with wall pieces and they will be good.

here is an example of what I did to croup manor

covered the holes with wall pieces

restored the floors and added stairs to the top floors since they were originally collapsed

Its funny cause the gaps in the floors were just wide enough for new floor pieces, its like bethesda intended us to do this.

For the Covenant, you can use Console commands such as "setownership" and "disable".

To be honest I have done this in my own game but unless I start building upwards there is not really much space.
