Assualtrons> every other Enemy in the Game

Just fought an Assualtron Dominator that literally melted a BoS Patrol, ninja'd my minutemen back up then proceeded to melt me with a red Father son Kamehameha wave. i guess that Eddie Winter holotape will have to wait.

I think its more their beam that is the overly lethal aspect. Not sure now much damage that does, but I wonder if some one can test it between one of them and say a deathclaw (letting the Assualtron beam the deathclaw).

You could likely try out legendary versions also. Heck maybe even throw in a legendary gunner commander too, just to see how they stand up to the beam.

The Assualtron is a robot it wouldn't be a Gunner, the Gunners have their own big bad variant though.

They actually got to use their lasers this time, and it appears that it does over 2000 damage, or around 1700.

Yep.
Looking at the games files, you'd have to have at least 1800 energy resistance like with power armor to even survive the blast.
I'm going to try that right now, first off with no Energy Resistance at all, level 250.

It's much more embarrasing to die to Atom cultusts who remember they brought Nuka grenades.

I've seen Gunner Sentry bots (the big tripod ones), but they are content to just sit back with their minigun arms and such letting you take cover and pop out to shoot them in the face at your leisure as often as they want to rolll after you.

Most ive seen have been at hight vantages, so they didn't chase me.
