Anyone else think they should give Obsidian another go?
I found NV to be so much more fun,(not nessesarily better) than 3. I feel they could do a lot with the new set up,opinions?

The creation engine is the reason modding is so relatively easy.
Which is based on older game engine that has issues that they will eventually have to fix if they want their games to stop always being filled with the same general bugs.

Funny you mention this as myHL3 calendar is right below my FO4 calendar.
One, I just never bothered to take down as a testament to the time I waited.
The other says "Tl;DR" and will probably never be taken down until I die or move. XD
Maybe it will be the omen to the end of times, or the great colapse O_O
Yeah, I made that joke once. Society will collapse hours before the announcement of HL3's imminent release. Good times, good times.

Also in reply to your previous statement, Creation Engine = modified gamebryo. It's also the reason load times are so bad in this game even on hardcore rigs.

That's because they had like, 9 months to crank it out. And Gamebryo is an extremely glitchy engine to work with. FONV has about 4x as many weapons as FO3 OR FO4.

With or with out the DLC? If its with out DLC I would like to see a list of all the weapons in both base games.

Okay so I lied a bit, it's closer to 2.3x as many weapons. If we were to count the fact that 90% of the FO3 unique weapons don't have a unique model, while all the uniques from FONV do, the disparity is even wider.

That is alot of weapons, just over all lol. After the DLC is out for FO4 we will see where it stands.

I really did not think you would list them, I'm happy I was wrong.

indeed more weapons, yet less combat.....

Fallout 1 and 2 don't fit in this type of game. If they are ever revisited, a remaster is all they need. Don't change anything, just update the graphics and fix bugs. Maybe clean up the talking heads. Thats it.
