best hunting rifle sniper mods

I've got a legendary two shot hunting rifle that I'm going to be using mainly for sniping. what mods should I use? (just as a note, I'm not looking at the weight for anything but VATS, which shouldn't be a huge issue)
For the receiver, the choices are the calibrated powerful receiver, and the .50 cal. The calibrated powerful has better critical damage (if it's anything like the 10mm version, crit damage would be WAY higher) and accuracy, which is great for my luck perks, and lower weight for possibly more VATS shots. The .50 cal reciever, however, has more base damage, faster fire rate (3:4) and doesn't use the same ammo as my Overseer's guardian (I have twice as much .50 as .308 at this point).

for the barrel I can use the long light barrel or the long ported barrel

the stock will be the marksman's stock

unless there's something I'm missing, I'll be using the large quick eject magazine

I'll need some opinions on the best scope to use too

probably going to use the suppressor for the sandman perk since I'm making a sneak-type build.

Also, is there any gun that's way better for sniping than this one, or is this good enough?

Honestly I've been rocking a maxed out .50cal Hunting Rifle with a suppressor as my "Long Reach" weapon. The only thing I didn't max out on was the Recon Scopes, I didn't like how they looked and felt exactly... So I am rockin' a Medium Scope with good effect.

Though I feel like the base damage on the .50cal is a bit light occasionally...

I go max but with a Long scope.



Sadly enough i MAY have accidently sold my 400+ .50Cal ammo to Arturo while glitching for the Big Boy and Free Ammo,

.50 action, long ported barrel, best stock, biggest mag, comp, and medium scope. Just max it out while keeping it looking good.
