They used Michael Dorn to voice Frank Horrigan in Fallout 2
Oh, I was very kind and, because it was Twitter, concise. I'm sure at some point I'll figure a way to compare the two using software or whatever. But sometimes asking "just works." :)
Then why does he not contribute to Star Trek Online?!
He's a nice guy, but I'll bet sometimes it gets super annoying being known (only?) as Data. "DATA!" Can you imagine? I mean, all the other things you try to do and that's all anyone ever remembers? Think back to Nimoy and his two books: I Am Not Spock and I Am Spock. I'm sure playing an ultra-popular character has its benefits and its drawbacks. Typecasting, money, fans calling you by your character's name, fans assuming you are your character, money, fame and money. ;)
Also, who wants to interact every...single...day with thousands of fans who probably only want to nitpick the writers, producers, actors, etc. of a show that went off the air over twenty years ago? "What was it like on-stage?" "Was Riker really as hot as he looked on the screen?" "Is Sirtis single?" You can also listen to/read Wil Wheaton's books and podcasts about the ups and downs of being known - and hated by some - for something you did when you were a kid.
and Will Wheaton was Fisto/Primm Slim.
If it isn't Brent then kudos for whomever pulled that one off as it sounds exactly like him.
Amusingly enough, an entire town got away with infringing ST copyright for years - and then they were officially allowed to continue on. :) I suppose it would have been bad press to pick on the place, and it only got attention called to itself when Nimoy decided to make a side-visit there a few years ago.
They were going to let the town have a preview of that first ST reboot movie ... but it doesn't have a theatre, and they didn't think it appropriate to show it on a bedsheet in the community centre.
