Report a translation problem
There should be an option to talk to them, after you hit the action button to start dialogue with any of your companions.
At the bottom, there will be an option called Exit Power Armor.
He was the active companion.

Companions jumping in to power armour is one of the few things about vanilla F4 that bugs me because most companions have a tendency to fight head-on so your armour is wrecked by the time you get them out of it and you need to repair it. It bugs me, NPC's in general have a decent-ish AI and tend to find cover for themselves but companions like Preston's Gravy just stand there in the open fighting half a dozen super mutants with zero cover and they either quickly collapse from low health or get your armour shredded to hell.
