{fan theory} dogmeat is a synth ({SPOILER ALERT})

i thought about this theory few days ago and i decided to open a discussion about the matter..
i think dogmeat is a synth because of a few reasons:
1.dogmeat is after all one of the only dogs that arn't mutated in the commonwealth and he looks preety "clean" to me at least
2.{SPOILER ALERT} its known that the institute also made animal synth's{SPOILER ALERT}
3.dogmeat is quiet smart... too smart. and think about it he's just some random dog from the wastland nobody trained him (as far as we know) and even if he is trained, there's alot of thing's he does and understands that almost no dog will understand
4.that's kind of connected to 3 but its a spoiler so..{SPOILER ALERT} he understand your request to find kellog by the smell of his cigaret's and you could say alot of dogs do that but i just don't buy it

my theory is that - {SPOILER ALERT}i think dogmeat is a synth sent by the institute (shaun) to help you find shaun{SPOILER ALERT}

5.you find dogmeat almost immdietly after exsiting the vault i find it a bit suspicious

I always thought Dogmeat was a Synth too.It would make sense....but what about Fallout 3 logic?wasnt Dogmeat there too....and if so wouldnt that make him proboly 20 years old?Making Dogmeat a super old dog?

There are numerous unmutated dogs around in fallout verse and Dogmeat isn't even the only unmutated dog around in fallout 4, Junkyard dog is also unmutated. It's likely that the current Dogmeat is a descendent of the dogmeat from fallout 3, so it'd rule out an synth links, also dogmeat does not have synth components so...

There were people who took their pet animals with them into the vaults. same reason why there are cats, and Proctor Quinlan probably didn't find his cat and name it when they arrived at the Commonwealth.

There's a whole lot of dogs and cats out there, there even is a guy who breeds dogs and sells them, why waste resources on making animals that are already there?

I mean there's a lot of clean dogs actually. And they're just as smart. They attack and follow their owners around just like Dogmeat.

But I mean ANYONE could be a synth. I over heard an institute scientist saying she cant wait until the more advanced gen 3s come out or something similar. Maybe they have literally no difference between a real human/animal and a synth?

But its too far fetched. I think he's just a well trained dog and he's a good boy.

Quote literally the last part of my post and ignore the rest. Anyways, there is zero evidence that the institute have synthetic dogs, Gorilla are much closer to humans in terms of DNA and so it's likely they haven't got as far as cats and dogs yet. But seriously, he is likely a child of dogmeat from fallout 3. It's possible the lone wanderer came to Boston given they'd have been aware of the institute and may have wanted to investigate after the events of "the replicated man".
